The present Ecobee install employs the PEK for the reason that I feel there are actually only four or five wires heading through the thermostat on the furnace but I'm able to pretty easily increase much more wires if needed to get two stages (thermostat is almost specifically previously mentioned the furnace that's within the unfinished basement).
